That’s a cool career path man, gl with that. I’m in one of the best culinary schools in Europe rn, not to flex or anything ;), gonna be the next Gordon Ramsay

posted 47 minutes ago

Chances are he’ll stay in China until the game gets released, remember he’s 18 and he’s hardly gonna be relocating at such a young age. Also, the Chinese region has shown great potential, every player there is probably waiting for it’s release so China can be properly integrated into the esport, it’s probably better for him to wait it out

posted 1 day ago

Agreed. Berhalter is trash, poor team selections and they got tactically outclassed by a Japan running at 75%, 2 terrible managers

posted 1 day ago

Only reason they’re getting out of World Cup groups is bc their group is 2nd easiest, rubbish team looks lost and there’s no time to find a new manager

posted 1 day ago

Say that if it makes you sleep better at night, doesn’t make you right though. Just Remember t3xture hasn’t gone -20 with 8 kills in a BO3

posted 1 day ago

Expected response from someone with no argument💀

posted 2 days ago

Are you stupid lmao that’s not how valorant works, it’s a 5v5 game

posted 2 days ago

Just admit you don’t watch t3xture💀

Sad week to be a damwon fan

posted 2 days ago

Damn, well that’s what noyn said, if that’s the case then that’s a real shame, hopefully they’ll still have academy teams anyway, like in LOL

posted 3 days ago

I heard that all teams will be required to have a female team and academy team. These guys will be put in an academy team for sure, it’s only a matter of time before they’re back in tier 1

posted 3 days ago

Love that guy, best reporter on the Korean scene since the iKyoto days, bow his APAC work is world class

posted 3 days ago

Franchising was the moment DWG were waiting for, he woulda had 4 great teammates

posted 3 days ago

I heard a couple of people say that too, it's shitty for the players and the scene, but if they can hang on for a year, surely there's no way they don't make it next year, right?

posted 3 days ago

China takes a hell of a long time to authorise their games there, no idea why, its a shitty situation bit it is what it is

posted 3 days ago

Maybe, but unlikely. It’s probable that there’s something planned for when val gets released in China, (maybe own region, or east Asia, these are just examples), but until then you shouldn’t bank on seeing Chinese players in apac for now. Not because of language barriers (there are many esport teams with Korean and Chinese players), but because big name orgs just haven’t seen enough from them

posted 3 days ago

I will hate riot with you, fuck riot

posted 3 days ago

They do but probably not in the way you mean. Applicants have to be well known and have a lot of money and facilities, basically they have to have proved themselves to have enough resources and commitment to run a successful team. But for those who don’t make franchising, the third party events will just be to pass time and perhaps make small amounts of money till they wait for the opportunity to apply again

posted 3 days ago

Bullshit, it's not like these 2 teams haven't already demonstrated that they're willing to pump.money into the game, they have the money, loyalty and connections to make it big here, it's just bullshit decision making, it's poorly done by riot, they can fuck themselves

posted 4 days ago

No not masters or anything like that, the next international events and qualifiers to those events are played exclusively by teams in franchising, other orgs will have to play third party tournaments or something until next year at least

posted 4 days ago

T1 and GenG fled the scene as soon as they could in exchange for NA, they came back because Americas didn't want their ass and they get accepted over orgs who were there from the start, robbery at its finest

posted 4 days ago

Fuck outta here, T1 can fuck off to NA, they didn't give a fuck about korea until now

posted 4 days ago

Riot split VCT into 3 regions - APAC Americas and EU. In each region there are 10 teams, all accepted by riot, with big fanbases and money to be able to buy the best players, have the best facilities and feed into the esport as a whole. Prgs are accepted for their stature and reputation, not their current roster, most will make a lot of changes before the next tournament. For the teams that don't make it, chances are a lot will get dropped, those who remain wait till next year to apply again for the one slot available for promotion into the league

posted 4 days ago

Yeah, but as much as id like that it's unlikely to happen. In Asia there's a lot of room for improvement

posted 4 days ago

W, people here love drama, shits getting leaked everywhere and people are taking that as a confirmation, there aren't 25 Korean players ready to take on Asia's best, as much as I hate to say it, so there will have to be some kind of variation somewhere

posted 4 days ago

Cool looking list fr. Btw it’s been said that Fennel have not made it into the APAC league, everything else is cool though

posted 4 days ago

People see 5 Korean orgs and they assume the teams will be 5 Koreans on each team. These are 5 big orgs with great facilities and overall stature in esports, and though they are based in Korea, their recruitment options are not limited to just Korea, it’s very likely we’ll see Japanese talent and probably players from all over Asia join these orgs, remember these orgs will be spending big money and won’t want to handicap themselves by substantially limiting their options. That being said, I’d rather one of these teams with no current presence wait till next years expansion and see Crazy raccoons be given a slot

posted 5 days ago

All the “minor regions” showed up, every region’s proved they’ve got what it takes to make it to the top, val esports has shown how competitive it’s gonna be from now on

posted 6 days ago

Brazil fans haven’t been toxic post game, it’s been all NA vs EU fans going after each other

posted 6 days ago

Tbh anyone making it about NA vs EU is just seeking attention, no matter where they’re from. Asking for peace on VLR is pointless, but we should just ignore the threads and comments

posted 6 days ago

Tf you mean talking a lot he’s telling people to respect NA, is that all you’ve got??

posted 6 days ago

I’m not excusing what he said or saying he’s something that he isn’t, I’m just saying that right now he’s not hating on them, he’s happy for Brazil as a whole

posted 6 days ago

People shit on this region too much before this game. Gotta love a region who bring as much passion as Brazil, very happy for them and for loud

Near the bottom, I thought he’d be hating too but nah I clicked on his profile and he’s living in the moment

posted 6 days ago

He happy as fuck if his recent posts are anything to go by

posted 6 days ago

Idk what this says but I’m happy as fuck for Brazil, loud on top baby

posted 6 days ago

Somehow managed to slip NA vs EU into all of this smh

posted 6 days ago

Brazil worked hard to get here, GGs

You have to be one of the worst trolls on this site, it’s crazy

posted 6 days ago

The toxicity is flowing as much as it’s ever done. Fans really ruin the reputation of some teams, not saying this specifically about optic it’s just an observation

posted 6 days ago

Bringing up DRX to troll is not “disliking other peoples opinion” you dumbass

posted 6 days ago

In VLR you can’t dislike a team without people shitting you for it, anyway let’s go loud!!! We want a new winner

posted 6 days ago

If you rewatch the stream, after Sacy’s clutch in overtime on the replay you’ll see him

posted 6 days ago

Stay mad, shit troll

posted 6 days ago

2 academy team players. Both monsters, incredibly talented players you should look out for, they definitely are the future for Korea, tbh all the academy players are insane

posted 1 week ago

Gonna start off by saying good work, I respect the work and commitment. Also, I really don’t think they need roster changes, the team finally clicked this tournament, Rb is finally back on the role he plays best at and it’s paying off for DRX. However, if they chose to add another player, like a duelist, since you were hinting at that, then why look any further than their own academy team. Beyn is a superstar in the making, ive mentioned him a couple of times before in VLR, I’ve liked this guy for ages, and he looks insane. He just looks like the type of player who would suite DRX’s play style perfectly, and his aim is insane

posted 1 week ago

Yeah, 100% guaranteed

posted 1 week ago

Absolutely. Optic vs DRX got 35K viewers today, more than we’ve ever seen. The game is growing, it’s in the top 5 most played now

posted 1 week ago

This aged so flipping well I cannot even believe this
