What about fnatic losing to the NA lcq team on pearl? Or fpx losing to xset on pearl? Or optic beating loud 13-3 on pearl?
I think what he means is that there hasn’t been enough time for NA to set the meta so EMEA can spend 400 hours VOD reviewing and anti-stratting to make up for inferior aim and game sense
Its based on so much how teams play regionally. When there's no international matchups or even footage this will happen. Some region's understanding of the map is just going to work worse or better. Doesn't even have to mean its bad just that it doesn't work against other regions. We already see this with EMEA 0-3 and NA 3-0 its not coincidence. Or the competitiveness inside the region is just weak on some map that again may put some teams in bad spot. Its like when Fnatic were looking way ahead of others with their Fracture. This is why new maps shouldn't be included in biggest tournament of the year in my opinion.
"New map." its been out for close to 4 months. Only reason you say this is because EMEA needs a ton of games on a map to learn how to play it decently
