Berlin, Germany will be the host city for the VALORANT EMEA Partnership league, according to a report from BLIX.GG's Alejandro "anonimotum" Gomis.

According to the report, the host city selection came down to Barcelona, Spain and Berlin, Germany. Teams reportedly preferred Berlin because organizations that currently field League of Legends teams in the LEC host their operations from the German capital. Berlin was also the host city for the third Masters competition and Valorant Champions in 2021.

The report also states that some of the teams on the waiting list have moved to the final phase of interviews. While the teams that had moved on to the final phase of interviews was not revealed, MAD LIONS are reportedly out of the running for the 2023 EMEA franchised league.

BLIX.GG has also reported that Los Angeles, USA and Seoul, South Korea will be the destinations for the Americas and APAC Partnership leagues respectively.

While none of the teams have been officially announced yet, it's been widely speculated that the teams that have been accepted for the 2023 franchised league will be announced after Valorant Champions 2022 concludes on Sept. 19.
