IMO Suygetsu is best sentinel player in the world and Shao is best Fade and maybe best initiator in the world. But are either of those top 1? Hard to say. So hard because roles differ quite a lot.

I think Ange1 is a really smart IGL and good player but I don't know if you can give him all of the credit for antistratting PRX. They have analysts and a really good coach that did a good bit of that imo.

retired, hiko because he's an easy example to learn from for high edpi players like me. current players it's objectively a race between shao, yay, and suy.

in gc it's jazzy from c9 white with nobody really close to her. maybe flowerful from shopify gc or sarah from imt is close behind but that's it tbh.
