Kyedae and a lot of other costreamers are not streaming cuz some of them are in the arena
that just means streamer carried the viewership, and the views are not organic
and? last year masters 3 got 600k in the finals, and last masters in iceland got over 1 million in the finals
I said compared to every other tournament, all the other tournaments had non finals games that had more viewership than this finals
because it seems to gets lower every LAN, and this is the one with crowd, which everyone said it supposedly to be the hypest one (didnt happen)

Champs had better viewership than Berlin, Iceland 2 has 20k less than champs which is expected. This is the only event which had a significant downfall which was kinda expected because the event sucess is dictated by finals peak viewership which had the probably the team with the least clout in masters (fpx) vs an asian team whose fans despite being loud still haven't managed to get the viewership above 150k in their regionals. As another guy said below, optic vs fnc would have broken a mil in such a good match

APAC has growing viewership but it's not yet on the level of those three. EMEA has been for a long while middling.
best finals so far but also the lowest viewership so far, valo esports is influenced by clout way too much
Any esport or even sport is influenced by popularity, because teams had different numbers of fans. People are more interested when a team they like is playing. Like I tuned in every now and then for this finals because I’m not a fan of either team but I enjoy valorant esports.
740k+ peak with 2 relatively unpopular teams is pretty good. OpTic vs Fnatic would have gotten 900k+ easily
honestly pretty good considering not many clouted watchparties, item drops or SEN this event.
