APAC now have Japan and Korean teams ? I though JP/Korean teams will be in another league (with CN teams in future) ? I really think they should make APAC south and APAC east like Apex
There will be an EMEA league, an AMERICAS league (na and SA) and an Asian league (APAC+east Asia)
I think Riot are shooting themselves in the foot if they don't preemptively allow a few Chinese orgs into the league, but then that leaves less space for SEA teams.
I wish there were more slots
There are most probably 12 slots and for some reason I think japan will have only 2 teams despite so good scene and orgs
NO the chinese haven't done shit in valo yet and im sure theyll add more slots later on like in league all regions don't have same slots
the region with bigger player base and more competition gets more slots its that simple how is it weird?
for every team in every other region that was on the brink of getting into the league, it's a massive fuck you to see organizations from a country that has done nothing during the application period to get in posthumously while they're stuck outside.

it wouldn't tho coz Chinese didn't have Valo 'officially' for 2 years and hence they exception being made for them later on
Talk about LOL, every league has 10 teams except china (17). Riot will obviously allow chinese teams, tencent will force them to.
Seulgi (iKyoto), BoDork and George Geddes are the only people constantly giving updates afaik

like organizations have to prove their long term investment plans into the game of valorant?
probably financial matters the most (whether they can provide a steady salary), history & legacy (like whether they're estabished org and have a proper fanbase), passion for valorant (ambition of the owner towards valorant scene)
all these Korean orgs have everything in check compared to most SEA's orgs

yall guys have rich enough history in esports. let apac build their own history for this time ffs
JP/KR/CN (East Asia) deserve the same amount of slots as APAC imo, which would be 6 and 6. Both regions have two teams in the top four Asian teams (PRX > DRX > NTH > XIA) and Japan makes up majority of the viewership by far. If they get more than half you can be angry, but it's reasonable to split them half and half.

Yeah, you're right. On paper it should be just DRX and DK in the league, but I have a feeling that T1 and Gen.G are going to complicate things
