Watching the tier 2 scene dissolving, more and more teams leaving val after not getting a franchise slot. Huge Rito L.

You think they would've stayed if it was the same format as now for the next seasons? Feel like the current EMEA set up is best for keeping T2 orgs in the game. But even then there will be orgs dropping out anyway

EMEA VRLs aside from France and Spain are not doing good

East and Nordics in deep shit, CIS dismissed and given up to the mercy of fate

Deep shit? elaborate on that. CIS obviously got fucked, but that's not a blame to Riot or the competition.

Elaborate what? Polaris and Surge are underperforming hard, they didn't develop any kind of big consistent viewer bases which regularly come to watch games and support players on socials, the orgs burn money on salaries but receive nothing in return

About CIS - nothing is fucked in CSGO with our region, we play in tournaments, we have russian broadcasts

Riot is so ass they couldn't figure anything out except for permanently closing down LCL and Ориентир

Perhaps. They would all still get to participate in the VCT circuit and so teams would probably stay around longer. The communication from Riot on the future of the tier 2 scene has been abysmal, and it makes sense for them to leave considering they have no certainty of what their team will be able to play in.

hopefully before next year they announce a "vrl" type league for NA so orgs will have the incentive to get back into the game.

Is not all fault of franchising, many orgs just giving up since there are now 5 months without tournaments for them, just no point for orgs to pay the salaries all those months, probably coming back next year

Not really too many teams in NA franchising was happening eventually ppl act like this wasn't the reason why so many orgs invested so much money into valorant. This is the eventual reality .
