Im asking you guys for your opinion, do u think Sova is still in the meta at the moment? Or are the other initiators better? Especially if u play double Initiator combos like, kayo and fade or breach/skye?

thats assuming he is gonna be used on the new map. i think he can be viable but idk if meta on Pearl map
i mean other initiators def have some strengths on specific maps that sova doesn't but I guess what I was tryna imply is that he doesn't have a weak map now that split isn't in the rotation
He was way more meta last year without sova nerfs, without fade and when teams didnt run breach + skye/kayo on maps like haven. He used to be must pick on haven, ascent, icebox, and very popular on bind. He’s far from his meta peak
I would say no in the meta, but he is still usable for sure. The thing is that Fade is Skye + Sova + Breach bundled into one.
imo sova is meta only on breeze, and viable on icebox, haven and ascent.
the maps that i said he is viable, i think fade is meta.
fade isnt the meta on icebox definitely, and the teams using her on icebox might realise it when they match up against a good team that utilise sova in the right way. and imo (also statistically) sova is way better than fade on haven. on ascent fade is definitely the meta so sova isnt picked.
what i mean to say is
sova used on(meta) breeze icebox and haven
fade used on(meta) bind ascent and split(not always)
sova is also good on ascent whenever required.
depends on the map - just like any other agent currently, which is a good thing.
He used to be a must pick on every single map, now you tend to see him mostly on breeze and haven, with some appearances on icebox and ascent, though fade seems to be getting a lot more traction on ascent

He's the wakest he's ever been for sure, but considering how he's consistently been the second most played agent after Jett since the beta I think it's fair to say he's in a good spot overall. On bind he's clearly outshined by Fade and Skye, but he's still an almost insta pick for Breeze, he's amazing on Icebox, Ascent and Haven. He even has the best winrate amongst all initiators I think.
Soba is still good

both are sort of in a good spot, if we give back the sova drone time pre nerf, he might over shadow fade so i think its perfect
