Shroud isn't even a controller player or duelist player or anything really. He just played the game for fun up until now and you can clearly see it in his playstyle even when he played in open qual with his friends. I doubt we would be seeing him moving like flexinja or some shit lmao.

Probably because tarik only plays Jett and Chamber and Sentinels wanted a controller. Moreover, shroud said on stream that he gave his name for the 5th man to Sentinels and knowing tarik, he probably didn't do that
don't think cost is a factor.
There is no way in hell a sentinels contract gets even CLOSE to what shroud makes streaming.

tarik can make more streaming with OTV and hosting watch parties. Pro play is too toxic for him

Tarik is staying as a free agent so that once franchising comes out, he can sign a big contract to play with RUSH and Stewie2k. It's all a big brain move.
