I can’t believe this is real but it makes sense. This is why I noticed that I only play maximum of 3-5 games a day after I started to stress out from long sessions.

It's real. I have blitz so I can see the winrate of everyone's last 5 games and if I lose a game the chances are in the next game more than half of the lobby has also lost a game or are a lower rank than me.

After three games it all starts to go downhill in my experience.

I'm a mathematician; with a degree in optimisation science, and a masters in statistics. I can almost guarantee everything your video mentions, is going on. From personal experience, in private companies they love this type of thing. My job is quite different to video games but this type of retention thing is something I've worked on (with a team of mathematicians). you guys should do some research on "engagement optimised matchmaking" which is quite a prevalent thought in the CoD AND Apex community. and if you search losers q on YT the main game that comes up is League. I think EOMM is in place in most any and all games now a days. It’s now to a standard that works so well for them we can feel it but can’t see it or touch it. Look at every cod since cod 4 every single one has a different multiplayer feel or hardness and it has changed over the years. Cod AW was pure filtration to see what we will buy. Ghosts was to probably see how tactical we wanted to be or if we would be. Black ops has been the main test floor because they are so loved and can do no wrong.

This totally screws up the natural flow of playing....basically erasing randomness. So while you may think you are controlling your destiny and playing in real time with nothing but skill determining the outcome, the developers are pulling all the strings controlling most of the elements that decide your gaming experience. If anything kills this franchise it will be this. Basically this increases the chance of you (the rat) buying microtransactions such as skins, BPs, and its proven in human psychology that you feel happier that you overcame a significant problem after winning a game after losers Q thus keeping your player retention for longer.

I recommend people to play pugs, custom games and games with friends from now on. if you dont have friends, there are plenty of discords that you can use to organise said games. if you are an aspiring pro, no offence, but you are wasting your time by playing matchmaking, pugs and scrims is the only thing you should be focussing on. (of course you can see it as a challenge, (your whole team has a low win percentage, so therefore you can carry them harder)) but valorant is a team game, and in high elo you can do nothing about it.

this video is really an eye opener on this.

so queue up with a smurf guy and play 2 match, or play and win a few matches within 5 stack and ez win streak for more? what's logic????

from my experience i noticed this
let's say i start with an easy match and i win easily, the next match always becomes harder and the next even harder until i lose, then i get an easier match and the cycle continues
i have a good winrate overall but yeah that's what always happen to me for some reason
