I think EU should make VRL more lenient and let more teams into groups/increase the group size because there are so many teams in vrl that could potentially upset the current groups.
6/8 qualified teams are from open qualifiers.

EU teams are actually consistent. NA just trolls in every esport except rocket league

I agree. Only having 2/8 possible new teams for split two was insane for newer teams, especially if we take in consideration that they would've had to qualify to go to LCQ (Fokus didn't so RIP). Sadly this problem will be worse with franchising
I think this is the reason NA is so much more balanced than EU rn (Balanced doesn't mean better before you guys flame me).
But look at fokus. They literally didn’t do shit cuz let’s me honest EMEA teams are much more consistent at staying at the top fnatic, guild, Team liquid, acend, gambit have all been around in tier 1 for a long time
