hopefully vct promotions and vrl will still be a thing so that good teams without the money can stil make it
Then that goes against franchising basics, teams pay to get in and don't get kicked out until they reach an impossible losing streak. Franchising will kill valorant hype
csgo is the most dead game in australia liike you litterally q with chinese pppl to find games
in the only internet cafe in my state the popularity rankings for the games are

- LOL
- fortnite
- apex
- csgo
so like it kinda is pretty dead compared to other regions which have wayy more players
Then theres rocket league where OCE is actualy more active than Asia (at least from my experience since I get 60% OCE and 30% JP servers)... Just because RL's that dead in Asia
true rl isnt really popular here either thou. but i hate qing with chinese people. im not being racist but they tend to comm in chinese and i cant understand shit so its frustrating when u have to keep checking minimap to know everything

tbh while valorant has potential and riot shows concern, the concern shown is on absolutely wrong parts of the game where they just go "hehe new skins and agents" while they still don't have LAN option other than in tournaments, demo system, and room for community engagement in maps, game modes, or even skins
18 teams, 16 partnered, 2 relegated/promoted to/from vct promotions or vlr regional leauges.
For instance, NA has 10 big orgs who must be in s-tier: faze, t1, tsm, 100t, nrg, eg, c9, complexity, v1, optic.
Brazil can provide 4 teams, SA 1 team.
The other 2 slots for promotion/relegation: guard, xset, luminosity etc.
For EU its hard coz idk which org will join valorante but 18 teams as well.
i think liquid, fnatic, acend, g2 and gambit will probs all be there. as for the others they will probs be in vrl such as karmine corp, vitality and others
It really depends on how riot does it.
And franchising has a lot of benefits.
No one cares about prize pool in LOL I hope you know why
i understand it has benefits, but it can really stunt anything but Tier 1 from developing which is how some regions in league have turned out. I can see it working with really good planning, but there is so many ways to fuck it up down the line.
On top of that, it encourages some teams to coast by while getting a free paycheck for just being average or even below average and never having any ambitions of aiming higher. i hope it doesnt turn out badly but idk rito games
