CSGO boring

I love CS and been watching it religiously for the last 6 years but its so boring now. Like the hype just isint there, scene is becoming dead and stale. I used to get up early for majors and discuss on hltv but since switching to Valorant, I enjoy watching Val more than CSGO because the gameplay design is modern and it's fun to see insane movements from Raze and Jett players conpared to the typical smoke cat and run up long A on Dust 2.

Just an impartial opinion from a long term CS watcher.

It's more routine which makes it boring to watch nowadays. Literally every team can execute a site as the whole community knows how to smoke double doors in Dust 2 and push short A through Cat control etc... It becomes an aim duel battle with flashes mixed into it which isn't fun to watch for long periods of time.

Tarik can back on this opinion because he also said CS is more routine.

yeah this clip is better, made me smile a couple of times. It's still nowhere close to a lan with crowd to me (as a twitch viewer), but it's as good as it can get with the way riot is running their events so far I guess.

I think reason why is cause you see same teams in same region dominating, Cs scene is getting smaller world wide in terms of competition. NA looking to be an absolute joke this major, yeah maybe something surprising will happen. Last year Navi getting their first major was a story built up for a while.

it won't Riot isn't Valve. Valve fk up when they pretty much don't support any of their growing scenes worldwide. There was a time asian scene was into cs 1.6 and csgo. They didn't do anything to help Na cs now and orgs don't see the means to invest in the esports. Its pretty much EU region game in a couple of years the way its going. I think Shooters are super popular now and is a growing trend with games like fortnite, apex, valorant, overwatch, csgo, pubg, crossfire being play by pretty much every country. Yeah NA/EU/Korea/China is the 4 main regions and NA is regularly meme to be a wild card cause they consistently perform badly against wildcard/minor regions. I really think some of riot moves save league in terms of them choosing to go franchising for constant fan base. NA region isn't as interested in league but still get good viewership.
I think China Viewership is insanely high compared to any other regions, idk how reliable their websites are but yeah. Wildcard/minor regions occasionally surprise and take games but nothing super competitive. I missed back in Season 2 when TPA won it was pretty hype and really caught everyone off guard because they came out of no where.

Not much different than NA, they're simply not good enough so why waste slots on them when teams like BNE exists

nope i love gamechangers. its very important that esports become more approachable/attractive for women. its not important that it appeases losers/participation trophy holders

it is important. The fifa world cup is a prime example

did you seriously compare football to esports? Also have you seen uefa CL? 5 countries get 5 instant spots and the rest fight for the other spots in qualifiers.

I mean teams like Italy are not able to play the world cup instead some shitty asian team who'll lose every game is gonna be in qatar, if you think that's fair you're just a cornball who probably celebrated your participation certificates
