for like the longest time in hltv and on a few occasions on this site i have seen people (particularly from eu) say "i was at the club when girl shidded on my cock" or "i was at club and got herpes" or in general anything to do with going to club.

how common is it to go to clubs in the EU and what do you really even do there? is there any real extra nuance to a club that makes it more than a glorified bar?

really curious as, in the US, while we do have clubs its not something thats as common or what youll see many people go to here.
usually the type that do regularly go to clubs in the US are seen as those who go to do drugs like cocaine as well as getting STD's

Clubs are bigger therefore more exciting then bars, even in the Local ones there is big artists performing here and there (T-Low is gonna be in a nearby towns club in two weeks) and you are not allowed to take illegal drugs there but well there is a connection

This may come out as a weird question but yes, it is true. While in some European countries local Bars are just as popular as you would consider them in the states, when people want to go out partying (not to do drugs or get STD's for that matter) they go to clubs. They are often places to hang out, drink and dance with friends, which is a more common practice than to go to a bar and do the exact same.
I only speak for myself of course, and while I would much rather want to go to a bar and hang out with friends and drink and laugh and all, clubs are still more popular and packed with people.

And it's also a common place to flirt in, although unfortunately in most cases it's never reciprocate.

I feel like Europe having so many different countries and cultures, makes this tough to answer if I'm completely honest.
However, I feel like people more often opt out to go at a bar, pub or a restaurant. Clubs are more "special occasion" if you will, that usually pull people in with their events or famous artists performing in them, which is not as often as it was, given the COVID is still a thing.

Then, there's Balkan area... Every weekend is a party or a club day, and every weekday is a coffee or a pub day.
EU stereotypes don't apply to Balkan region lol, but the best parties are there.
