It has been hot minute since he competed in top level VCT.
But still I am yet to see someone who is yet to play viper as effective as him.
He creates impact mid round and late round.
Very rare for a vipers to do that good.
Any other good viper mains who can compete at his level?

DRX seems to really suffer when it comes to drawn out tourney formats. They always come out with new stuff but the further they go and more film there is on them, the easier they become to read. It was slightly better with Zest this time around but still need something more to take that next step

MaKo and sScary are the only two who come close. Marved is good but his Viper is the weakest agent compared to his Brim and Omen. If Less consistently played like how he did during UBGF Icebox he could be up there too.

Few people have made a strong case, however, no one is as impactful as nAts, and probably won't be as M3C/Gambit have a playstyle that create opportunities for nAts to have the impact he is having on agents that can solo hold a site, or go on a solo lurk. Unless someone utilizes their comps to this extent, we won't see a site anchor be as impactful as he is.

nats is really good. but you are just asking a really irrelevant question. playing an agent at a certain level is really not important. its the player that matters and there are a lot of good controller players.

No, agent performance matters too.
Especially controllers, each has its own style and really hard to perform equally good on all the agents.
Nitro for example was one of the best NA omen, on other hand his Astra,just sucked as*.
Viper makes players mostly to anchor a style and restrict movement across map, many players tried to emulate nats style of free moving viper but failed.
Well you have optic flair, so I I will just keep silent and pretend you know better😅
