as much as i love keznit mazino and friends they've been dominating their region for a while. imo LATAM just wasting slots at masters and they arguably the worst region rn. riot keeps 2 slots for br but that includes latam teams already and maybe +1 to other regions/ also -1 eu wkwkwk

Yep really bad (potentially worse than playing on Texas servers from NY)

Also yep they could travel, not sure if they would tho

they can't travel, unnecessary fuel emission leading to green house gases = global warming

LATAM South/BR is pretty playable right, like the teams definitely scrim each other. LATAM North definitely would be too far away though

Southeastern and south states to be more exact

i also think it should be merged

but kru isnt that dominant anymore
they lost to some random tier5 team called xolos i believe?
and if it wasnt for LEV choke, they would lose against them too

didnt they only lose because they lost keznit or sumn, or was that a different game?

E Xolos is pretty good, and Leviatan is an up and coming team. Let's not overreact because LATAM was the one with the weak showing this Masters. If we overreacted before this tourney, Japan and maybe even Brazil would be worked out of Masters.

i thought leviatan was old in the LATAM scene and that kru is always their enemy when it comes to seeding for masters? also im just saying that kru has been dominant in their region for a long time now and that if they're really that dominant they should be able to compete with brazilian teams and maybe give the main LATAM slot to jp or kr and have 2 slots "BR and LATAM" merged

Their team was rebuilt in November and the coach of leviatan was the coach of Kru when they made their Champions run. It's no secret that KRU has dominated LATAM since they lost in Stage 1 of 2021, however the region is not that far off from being a competitive region internally.

Leviatan isn't an up and coming team though, they are ex-Australs and have been fighting Kru for the LATAM spot at pretty much every event so far (actually beat Kru 2-0 at 2021 LATAM Masters 1 and won the whole event).

Fair, did not know that. That doesn't change the fact that they have looked way better since they got Onur as coach.

then no latam teams would ever qualify.

Imagine if they did this to Japan after not winning a single LAN game in 2021.

didnt japan win against HL in berlin? always trusted Japan they just got grouped with teams far better than them but they proved themselves that they can compete in iceland
