With this PRX win today over The Guard can we say that DRX is the best team in this tournament? Or will they again fall to EMEA/NA?
StormX [#4]yeah drx looks like the strongest team right now in playoff (keep that in mind they destroyed zeta too)
And also even though they lost the first map vs PRX the other two were relatively easy
Danny [#6]PRX did throw a map lead against them by picking Yoru though so I could see PRX getting vengeance eventually
how did they throw by using yoru lmao. they practice it, they've used it and won in the apac finals

agree
JCopper [#11]I'd like to see how they compare to G2 before saying they are the bestl, but they are uo there for sure
considering g2 have only played one match theres not much to rank them off

Semifinals

They destroyed everyone with Yoru on bind in APAC

Yeah thats why i would wait a little before putting DRX over them they looked really strong in VCT

Thr rgb flash strats works in apac
AverageJoe [#7]playing against Optic will be their best test, and only if they beat Optic CONVINCINGLY (which I think is the top 3 team in the tournament atm), then they can be considered the best
they will destroy Optic

It always gets me how people still think Yoru is weak lmao
BEHEMOTH [#23]It always gets me how people still think Yoru is weak lmao
He is
Show me an example of it working internationally pls

Brother the rework came out in this act only, gotta give some time for teams to try him out. We literally have seen teams like M3C struggling to run Omen on Icebox after the recent buffs, expecting them to learn Yoru from scratch in such a short amount of time is not at all ideal.
They rework outside of the ult has been very good. You can do a lot with the clone and fake tps, internationally as everyone has pointed out, PRX have done a great job with him. And they haven't even started utilizing him completely, give some time and you'll see how he eventually becomes a good pick.

I guess all we can do is wait and see, but i don’t think he’ll ever have a place in the meta.
I just don’t think he has the entrying capability of a true duelist, or the space denial and information gathering capability of an initiator.

That's a fair take because a lot of people do say that he might never be meta, honestly I think if he does not then Riot will try forcing him into the meta just like they did with Viper. I hope he becomes a good pick though because and believe me when I say this, he's super fun
it's not even in terms on how they did vs a specific team, all of their players just look like their in the best possible form. Also, they seem to have the same level of insane coordination as always, and when that doesn't work all of the team just starts winning duels. I definitely say it's a close tie between them and Optic in terms of not only their fundamentals, but general skill as a team.
