What does riot open system offer to non partner orgs investing in it. Out of 100 orgs hardly 15 orgs will get that so called 100k stipend whereas all the partner teams get basic support and bundle sales irrespective of performance. Btw almost all of the partner org are probably strongest financially in their region/country. Riot is providing more support so that they can build their dream teams. Only some regions with insane talent like turkey,kr will survive. Others will get fked no matter what.
All those promises of partner slot to t2 orgs who invested and in the end scamming them and then acting like they care about the esports eco-system. T2 teams just invested in val and got nothing in return

it's not perfect, but better system than what we have now, t2 got nothing if they achieve nothing, it's fair, honestly i cant think a better system than this one

Just increase the cups from 12 to 16 and distribute those slot evenly. Reduce the stipend to 50-60k . 60k to 8-10 t2 orgs of different regions is better than100k to 4 t2 orgs.

Making it sound as if riot is giving them some sort of blessings. It is the t2 orgs that invest in val. This right here is the bare minimum. It is crazy to think that people are thinking of this bare minimum as some sort of gods work🤣🤣🤣

no I'm making it sound like Riot are giving them a chance to compete at the highest level that didn't exist before which is simply what it is. Riot is a capitalist business and VCT is there to bring them money. I don't understand what you're supposed to expect for orgs other than just a chance to compete in the said circuit in order to bring Riot as much money as possible

Idiotic take. They offered far less to T2 than they are now. Youre likely just a salty bum crying like a bitch that you werent chosen. Someone has to be out of partner. You think they should add more partners each year? So you go to 100 partners eventually?? Grow up.

What does riot open system offer to non partner orgs investing in it.

Wtf does old partner system offer??? Literally nothing

Why not increase the cups slot to 16. You are saying this because all 3 french orgs got partner. All this open opportunity means nothing if all you are providing as a financial support to 4 t2 orgs is 100k.out of 40-50 orgs investing in a region t2 you are just supporting 5-6. What's the point . Also i never said that old partner system offered better. It was worse. New one is not better either. Just better for players. It is shit for orgs.

Have your rich french orgs play and invest in val t2 for years . Even they will give up.

I just hate partnered/franchising and prefer open circuit but honestly it's better than it was. now it's more of a cs louvre agreement type where there are orgs who benefit from partner perks, but the very best of tier 2 have some sorta chance of making it?

It is better for players but not for orgs. When does it make sense to have more opportunities for more partner teams than t2 teams. Atleast increase the cups to 16 from 12.

yeah which is why you will see mix teams at cups and not orgs, that is a shit idea but that's what you are probably getting. fokus are leaving, doubt any new orgs will join, navi just leave their academy and others will try for a bit but then probably dip

Bro all partner teams will play and have high chance of qualifying for those 12 slot. How many partner teams do you think will fail. Especially in a region like Pacific where difference between t2 and t1 is huge and orgs need money to bring coaching staff to nurture t2 talent.

that's why the only discussion is those 4 slots lmao

Which is my issue. Atleast give more opportunities to t2 teams.giving them bare minimum right of qualifying for international and making it look like some gods work is disgusting. Ask all these partner teams to invest and retain their roster without riot support, even they will give up.

I agree but with Riot's mindset of no serious betting sponsor and allat an actual open system is not possible. No org would see VCT as a viable business
