no, despite china being horrible they still have had some notable runs, edg 3rd at bangkok and london, wolves at toronto; its the same as league where g2 goes for podium finish and sometimes another western team does something
atleast, china is a big factor in the income aspect of valorant, the western contribution in league's earnings is nothing compared to the east

How this will help to improve China's level ?
we give you your own region, 4 slots, the best salary, the best production and you still wanna other think to improve ???? to improve china level you need it to play on pacific league but this shit will never happen. so at least let’s not destroy the viewer experience by forcing them to see team who don’t have the level. give 1 slot less to the worst region and 1 slot more to the best region at the champ before.
China worn a world and got meta where they where close from other region. It's only that year that we have a hide gap, and removing it as a region will just make the level go even more down.
Plus APAC is 40% of playerbase excluding China, APAC need to split into 2 region.
china was never close to other region.yes sometime a team did a run but it doesn’t change that the other team were bad and in terms of avg placement they almost always the worst. if you need a certain meta to be close you are not good. merge those two region seen hard i agree but atleast don’t give them 4 slot. 2 seen good
APAC is currently the biggest region in term of playerpool, you CANT merge them, and you can already bet in 2031 they will split.
Plus it will not help China to improve. What China need is a small expansion, Mongolia should be include, Eastern CIS could also be a part of it.
look at what ewc where the removes a slot to the worst performing region in last years tournament and gave a slot to the winner
china played much better at that event honestly and had way more competitive games
They went -91 rounds as a region which is atrocious. I'm dead serious when I say a team of 5 of myself could have done better.
