I mean its about the money they generate. Given the fragile state of esports financials it makes sense to be sustainable and the same reason why japan had two teams. But I wonder with the new format teams would be more unbalanced due the difference in the subregions and mostly one good team farming the region to qualify and getting bombed out

They will choose the SEA region and will try to keep the roster. They are doing a partnership with Rnt who has some operations in SEA. Also GE had a history of international teams like their Overwatch. They also brought in some sponsors giving them some financial support and if they get a partner slot they should be able to keep this roster.
High pickrates doesnt mean its not balanced. The other controllers are too weak and not viable on their own. Sova and Fade are not OP but flash ini are dead so you see only scan nowadays. Same with the neon nerf, the other dueslists except phoenix are just weak and viable on few maps only.
Current partners will be grandfathered. They dont need to change anything despite choosing any sub region
S8ul is more of content org that an esports org. They have a lot of creators and hence they will obviously have a better social media presence

I feel GE has been a consistent top team throughout the year despite all the drama. Other teams had good runs but the players and Platoon deserved to qualify.

Rushi isn't wrong. When did a Indian VCL team ever come close to qualifying through ascension? Indian teams have their best players and imports playing while other teams have the best players from their region playing in Tier 1. So the cream of the best players of SA are not close to the true tier 2 scenes of the other regions leave alone the best players
Rushi also has a point. He needs a team for immediate success. Also in VCL no indian team even with imports and their best players never came close to qualifying given the fact that most other countries have their best players playing in VCT. So there is a quite a gap between them

Bad take. Any team with 2 upper finals will more like make champs. NS had won a masters and prx dropped points in stage 2 and yet they did it. The diff between PRX and G2 is PRX farms internationals better than G2
Lowkey I was hating on GE until G2 showed they are even worse. Alteast GE was close unlike G2 on ascent
NRG was worse than GE was vs Lev. I would even say that if GE had the nerves and experience they would've even won it. It was that close. So if GE wins against XLG and qualifies its good for them. Dont forget the only win NRG has was against the same XLG.
