Why do cn and apac teams always suck at champs ?
Like bro all year long apac dominate but at champs they just shit their pants. 4 Chinese teams lost 3 apac and 1 amea (to prx in a close fashion)

well cn won a trophy that 1 time, but besides that... yeah champs is not for asia apparantly

not really, EDG were undefeated on 3 entire maps that tournament. When your map pool is that good, you deserve to win. EDG were from the upper bracket, EDG almost won bind and they were ahead throughout the entirety of abyss.
in no world did TH deserve the trophy more than EDG

I don't think that's fair to say, TH would have been deserved winners but EDG clutched up in the big moments, and that is why they won. They were just the better team on the day
Lotus is the only map TL won at EMEA grandfinal and 2nd best map after Split, kinda bad to lose vs PRX who are struggling on Lotus for half a year

apac doesn't particularly "suck" at champs, during champs the meta is usually figured out so the high risk unpredictable plays don't work as much; also, there are not many good teams in apac, only prx and drx are the main ones, prx fumbled champs 23, were horrible in 24, choked against a sub in fnc in 25; and drx get top 5-6 and then it seems that it is their ceiling (last year was different)
im all for apac love, but was DRX ever an actual contender? theyve always been a 5th6th merchant, making them (IMO) just a "good enough but never trophy contender team"

The last I checked EMEA had 3 EMEA teams in playoffs same as Americas but the same 1 team is reaching the finals + still lose the GF while APAC has more teams in top 4 lmaoo

Apac historically have done quite well. DRX produced good results internationally and PRX is literally one of the strongest franchises in all of VCT.
i know it seems like im coping but besides the fact that ge almost won, APAC is the only region that didnt have a signle matchup against china. 2 of emea's 3 wins are against XLG and JDG, theyre not better than apac, if apac got chinese teams they would be 3-1 too
EMEA went 1v1 with apac while playing against its best team and its 1st seed. I dont think t1 beats TL and NS beats KC. Doesn't look ilike it to me
if that will be the case then sure, but for now EMEA and APAC are tied 1 to 1, T1 can beat FUT easily, GE can beat VIT and NS can beat KC
No t1 aren't beating fut at all. Unless some crazy map veto / sop. Sleeping happens. NS from what we've seen. Can play a bit but got rolled by the most convincing team for now in NRG . But. There miles behind kc. And vita looked way more controlled than ge. So i don't agree but its true that none played a Chinese team i maybe they wouldn't in the bin. Its because they are more brainless regions who are stronger when the meta is less settled.
When the smart regions Emea/amer get enough time to figure it all out they tend to beat them later in the year
Still too early tbh apac can still bounce back atleast apac actually got some close games unlike cn
