I've been finding myself in my spare time looking back at some stuff I recorded while at Masters London lower/grand finals, and I'd be happy to share some of the stuff I recorded in this thread. It just felt like such an incredible experience being there. Memories like being at the fanfest [they do art stalls, and some live stuff, like talks from the wingmen, and playing the defuse the spike game [where you have to press a button after a certain number of seconds on the exact mark but they don't show you how much time after 3 seconds or a point like that] in the heat. There's also stuff they don't show you on the stream. I had the lowest tier of seats for the lower final [they weren't that bad tbh] and the team I support lost the grand final and I still remember being there in such a positive light

fr, i went to champs paris and masters london with my dad and friends respectively, and holy shit it was such a fun time

the fan fest, artist alley, all that shit is so much more hype than any video or pictures can make it out to be, plus the atmosphere of the arenas themselves are nothing short of fucking electric

so if you get the chance to go to a vct event take it and you will not regret it even if your team loses

seconded!!! i took a trip to masters toronto and no online viewing experience can beat being in the arena, plus toronto was a smaller venue so i actually got to go up to the barrier when players were walking out and stuff and it was super cool!

I'm hoping for another Masters event hosted in SEA (last time was Masters Bangkok), since I don't really have the budget to go anywhere outside of SEA. I'm particularly glad Valorant is giving more chances to Indonesia to host events like the ongoing GC Pacific in Bali, last time we hosted anything as big as that was Ascension Pacific 2024. Here's hoping for a Masters Jakarta or Bali next year, though I also wouldn't mind a Masters Singapore or Masters Kuala Lumpur/Penang
