That's fair. I personally don't think a change this late is even a good one to begin with, especially since purp0 helped them qualify to champs and even if he's not able to play desired agents. This is the liquid that made top 2 and qualified. No matter how good a player GSR might be, it's such a risk that it almost never pays off (I hope it doesn't and they get group). It's just so fucked for purp0.

He was decent at best playing Skye that's about it. He was not a good scan player
He was playing well on initiator and then they switched things up and made him perma jett / neon duelist. No shit his stats arent great when he's entry fragging after playing sova for a year
brother he has over 3000 rounds of jett its not like it isnt a comfort role for him he just is not good
last time he played mainly duelist he was playing for a tier 2 team over a year ago. How about you try and play initiator for a year at tier 1 then get told to switch to completely different role in a different meta to the rest of your 3000 jett rounds.
izu has done the exact opposite role switch and still been one of the best players year round, there’s just levels to it

no hate or anything, but where did the decent caller come from? purp0 was never known for his midrounding and calling. Just because he played initiators doesnt automatically make him a caller
u can hear it in the comms and also i heard lohan i think on interview mention it a while ago
just because theres a player input during the game, it doesnt make them a caller, by that logic everyone in any team is a caller, cause they talk or say something during site executions
maybe if lohan has said that its true, but even then i dont remember him talking about that and ive watched every interview with liquid players/coaches. Maybe i just forgot
