I'm genuinely asking, what's the lore?
idk ion like him much but I don't hate him, prolly sen fans hate him for playing bad or smth
He just got thrown under the bus when Rob went after Kaplan, more of a victim of circumstance and not enough time to adjust to tier 1 as an igl.
SEN had some awkward underperformances under his calling, nothing actually against kyu's character or anything
dunno how long you've been gone, but there was one particularly iconic breeze match where johnqt was last alive every round and ended with an absurdly high kda from the loss (hence, "JohnKD"), and obviously that got compared to kyu given the igl role displacement
tbf kaplan deciding to have kyu igl and looking so bad in kickoff was one of the reasons rob decided to kick kaplan.
Yeah but I doubt any Sen fans hate Kyu, and Kaplan’s roster decisions and gameplan wasn’t cutting it so it was justified. Wish Rob Moore messaged it better though.
honestly sen fans hate kap more than kyu (cuz of the zekken stuff), kyu more than often just gets grouped in it cuz they're both on m80
no he wasn't thrown under any bus, there is no reason for him to even be on the team when we have john
based off the live comms, you can hear him, it sounds like he's tilted and gave up, shit is wack
i dont think hes hated but from this game specifically i can understand why he'd be unlikeable (clearly tilted while comming and peaking early in the 4v2 instead of waiting for the smoke)
The blame should really all be on Kaplan cuz he brought him in to replace John calling
Like tf?
think he made a tweet with a gif laughing after sen got eliminated from stage 1
