Here in the best region, Americas, we actually took all the talent from tier 2 and put them in tier 1 teams already. MEMEA tier 1 teams failed to understand that concept. All your tier 1 players are washed bums.
So if your worst T1 team destroy your best T2 team, it literally means there is absolutely nothing left to pick up and your region will only rely on imports
In EU we have very strong T2 culture, just look at League of Legends where every region has own tier 2 team leagues and we strongly rely on promos and relegations, and America doesnt know a word called relegation

what do u mean no? having good tier 2 players is good for everyone, especially the competitive ecosystem. if there's no good tier 2, t1 players and teams get complacent knowing their jobs are practically guaranteed and not in danger. and if you're one of the vct orgs, losing to these teams is a sobering reminder knowing you have top priority to players like this who beat your team.
