EDG as many of you may know has been eliminated in stage 2 and is qualifying through champ points.
This may be dissapointing to some and many believe they will fail. BUT THIS IS THE BEST RESULT POSSIBLE
I think many people can agree that EDG, XLG, Nova and Tyloo are the best teams in china right now BUT Nova and Tyloo could not make champs through champ points NO MATTER WHAT.
This would mean fraud fraud AG would qualify for doing well early and making it to Santiago DESPITE not being top 5 in the region.
If we wanted the best 4 CN teams in champs, WE need BOTH XLG and EDG to not get top 2. If AG truly deserve that spot in champs, they should earn it, and prove that they are good post yoru meta.
EDG is always Chinas best shot in internationals, they have experience, they have consistency and besides two events have placed the highest for CN in every event. Before I wouldve called XLG regional frauds but after their bloom in london, I finally have the proof and belief that they could do well at internationals.
Nova are the goats and finished first in their group, no need to explain more. I have believed since 2023.
Tyloo are an obvious fan favourite with some of the best shooters in CN, with the addition of siufatbb, their macro is catching up with the rest of the region so I expect them to bloom.
BLG of course have been doing incredibly well this stage as well, so if they make champs I have 0 complaints. Whzy needs redeem himself after last champs (also BLG would have made every champs that they possibly could)
