nah dfm lost in OT for map 1. SP is just not good with sunset so they got stomped by rrq and they tried to fixed their comp but still lost to dfm. and then RRQ is bad with breeze. so how was the RRQ game closer than DFM? even the scores tell u that.

The score tell me that round diff doesn't always mean closer or not.
- I was saying that SP was bad at sunset, NOT about how good RRQ was. Sure it was SP's map pick but it was probably because they thought they were good BUT they've never played this map before this year before play-ins so they didn't really know if their plans work on sunset.
- I know the round diff doesn't always translate to how close the game was (even though it generally does). That's why I wanted to know why he thought the rrq game was closer. cus rrq only played good on sunset and that's it and it was against SP's first try of sunset (SP changed their comp vs DFM).
- RRQ is quite good tho if we wanna talk about this. Of course they are not like the top sunset team, but since they've changed to this comp, they've been decent at sunset (2-1 win/loss and the game they lost was 13-11).
It's stupid to say that DFM is closer to SP than to RRQ. The two teams failed in completely different ways

I don’t recall seeing it at any world championships since the league was formed, either
with so few good players, this is bound to happen when you spread them thin across multiple teams.
