is there a single point in VCT history where they were considered the best in EMEA, considering the effort they've put into this game its kind of insane that they've just constantly been a 2nd-3rd best team in EMEA year in year out no matter what

was a top team, I'd say same level as world champ era acend. Maybe a bit below Gambit but still a top contender.
Acend and Gambit were still better imo, they lost to them the 2 times they played in an actually pivotal match
gambit was always better than both
But acend/Liquid could go either way, especially if they took scream off of reyna for 5 minutes.
i mean they have won emea twice so youd think so yea, even if you discount the 2023 one the 2025 win they 3-0'd gx who 3-0'd bbl the day before, even if by champs they werent the best team in emea at the point they won they were by a pretty large margin the best team in the region
you can't even discount the 23 one because they literally ended prime FNATICs like 200 day winning streak
sure i think its more of like, if fnc and tl replayed that game 10 times i think TL are winning like 2 at max, but if you replay their game against bbl its closer to like 6 or 7
