GE Platoon

I saw the news and was very happy that this YT statistic nerd turned analyst became a head coach, but the comments under the post are saying that this was a bad decision.

My assumptions are either Platoon's lack of experience in the head coach position, the impact FrosT has on his teams, or the removal of a key figure during a time of growth and better results for the org.

I like Platoon and Patmen as creator and coach and hope that Platoon can produce a decent result as a new coach for split 2, but I know that people are gonna flame GE for their decision unless they get at least a top 4 placement in Champs.

i think a head coach's role is not only to know about the game but also to keep his players calm under pressure and help them not only in game but with things outside the game. i think that only comes with experience

I mean platoon is actually good too. He coached 1 map and they beat FS and PRX on it.

EWC is gonna be a very important phase for him. Lets see how he handles the team on LAN on his own that too on the international stage. Even if they bomb out he'll gain useful experience for stage 2 and hopefully champs

He will prove to be a better coach I believe. No more wierd comps
