G2 and Heretics are the best examples of teams with the same core that are too long unsuccessfully together (beside of winning EWC / regional). They simply lost their hunger.

I think G2 should try & rebuild around jawgemo and trent... maybe sign eeiu when he's being replaced with C0M regarding rumors. And then from T2... exa or Boni or Shondex... many options.

EWC is the biggest non-Riot event in Valorant and the biggest non-major esports tourney in the world (Valorant, R6 Siege, CS2, LoL, Dota 2, PUBG, FIFA, CoD + Warzone, Apex Legends... hell they even have a tourney for Streetfighter and Tekken - and every game has only their best pro teams + national teams competing and all prizes are HUGE money). I think the complete prizes are almost 100 mil. USD. It's a giant tourney. Everyone who calls it "mickey mouse" got no actual clue... and last year it pretty much the same without the national teams and Heretics were happy about it for a reason.

It's just not a major (it can't be for any game) because it's a non-developer organized tourney. So of course... a major is more prestige, teams go 101% during majors and no one is doubting that. But believe me... every VCT that competed at EWC fought hard for the 600k USD and that honestly good looking trophy.
