hi guys, made a fun little valorant tournament sim. check it out and let me know how it is :) vctdraft.com
(p.s a lot of the ratings are biased/ skewed, so please do give some input on what ratings might need some changing)

UPDATE: I've added 1v1s! lmk if there are any issues.

update 1.2: IGL tags, if your team doesnt have an igl the teams OVR will suffer.
Some igls give buffs.
One gives you a nerf lol.
another update: added open lobbies, so now you dont have to wait for a code to join, can just open a public lobby and anyone can join!

I gotta say, the round by round visuals is very satisfying 10/10 and the UI is very nice overall, I just feel it's a little bit too simple to be super replayable

I'll probably keep playing the daily challenges though, I think that's the most interesting mode because you could compare to other people (maybe there could be more result sharing options, like round and map diff to flex on other people)

i think the penalties should be heavier, for example a player who has only played duelist shouldnt have only a 6% penalty to their other roles, it should be like 10% or greater

What do you have on the backend? Do you simulate in terms of each player rating like my player role rating vs enemy player role rating? Did you add any randomness to it? If not it’s very cool.
Also how did you decide each player’s rating? Where did the data come from

Yeah its simulated on the backend, every round is broken down into individual 1v1 duels between players. and yeah the role rating is what matters, in terms of randomness its pure probabilty. For example if a player with 80 rating verses a player with 70; the player with 80 rating wins 53% of the time.
In terms of rating it comes from a mix of overall teams lan results, individual performance and a lot of manual adjustments (because some players the stats dont show exactly what theyre capable of). Hopefully I can get more general input from the community so that the ratings dont seem as skewed!
