it's not an independent org but BLG's Academy and academies are usually more lenient with allowing their players to look for other opportunities
I feel bad for Motiv, having their slot taken by multi-billion dollar company BLG and then just thrown away like this so they can get better opportunities/play in China

the exact same thing could have happened to motiv lol, especially to minimise. The format is shit but if they wanted to play they should have won, period
the difference is BLG is a multi-billion dollar company who doesn't care if they win or lose (just look at their contract obligations), and motiv is a company that is way less richer and have actual contracts with their players (they only released their players after their loss against BLG academy)

True, I think EVERYTHING would have been better if anyone could qualify through premier even the team that did lost their regional qualifier, and maybe give 6 slot to premier so we dont have ass group of 3
teams who lost earlier get to play in premier, but motiv lost later so they didn't get a chance to play. it's sad...
There's rumours that BLG yilai joined XLB and someone reported that, so XLB has withdrawn. This is NOT 100% true.
