Well tbf i never argued about our players being better than SEA.... I always said even though we are worse we get higher PEAK viewership than SEA, Its just you brought up the argument of Damaraa carrying VLT last year so i said it... and also you called our region t6.

OCE SUFFERED through incompetent TOs, a downsize in priority from Riot themselves, and an infrastructure that could only be bridged by god knows who at this point.
The community fought blood and tooth to keep the region alive, and thank their lucky stars that their fruits of battle are still being seen.
Look, I understand all this, Our region has also survived from the lowest and only got revived after S8UL entered valorant, But my main point here was to tell the original commentor that viewership does play a factor. Do you think Riot wouldnt have prioritised OCE region if they were getting viewership like us and japan? surely they would. Although its probably good for OCE that they get clubbed with SEA next year and dont have to deal with incompetent TOs now.... Thankfully our TO (Nodwin) does an amazing job.

Current regional channels are maintaining their bubbles well. And reminder that it's SOLELY on the regional channels, outside of the English broadcast.
You're misunderstanding me; I meant outside of your tunnel visioning of the English broadcast on the main Pacific channel, it doesn't mean the viewership is solely relying on that. Each regional channel are maintaining its own bubble and viewers, and they're healthier than last year when we got bottlenecked by SOOP.

what urgency does your region need that your regional VCL have to be streamed in the main channel?
VCL SEA literally have Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and ROSEA teams which includes MY/SG, HK/TW and Mongolia.
they need at least ONE english stream. which channel should they use for that?
and how many countries does VCL SA got? 5? 6? or how many?

sea performed bad in views cuz all of them were forced to watch on soop in korean and India has atleast 60% speaking hindi / english and sea has much less common language
Because we were literally locked behind a streaming platform that almost 99% of SEA aren't familiar with. It wasn't until Split 3 and a massive outrage that they rescinded their decision to return to the traditional platforms. Get your facts straight.
