im not known as an aspas glazer but i do think he's the goat, i think the issue relies more on the coaching staff and igling than his aim, it's out of his control at this point
but his whole thing in the past 2 years has been that he can carry bad rosters to internationals
he can carry bums, he can't carry a dysfunctional team
last year's roster was great, they knew how to set him up, there was no clash of egos, sure maybe he got the florescent treatment a little bit where everyone was kinda there to set aspas up and enable him but it worked because the team was in right behind him
now they have no idea how to use their util in any beneficial way, aspas performing badly isn't a result of anything he's done wrong but he just isn't getting the support he deserves
this isn't an aspas thing, any duelist needs to be set up correctly, even if you take a duelist in a G2 or TH-esque system where their entire objective is to die for the team and take space for the team they're still being set up
Aspas doesn't have that, his team is clash of egos so nobody is using their utility to help him, zekken is doing his own thing on other duelist, verno is focused on calling and shooting and utility so his energy is being split between all three leading all three to be shit, mazino looks lost at times and tex doesn't have much ability to help aspas
plus aspas/zekken for example on fracture were playing jett neon so any scarce piece of utility has to be split between the two so at the end of the day they are stuck entrying behind half a shock dart and a rock someone grabbed from t spawn of breeze
also WHY ARE WE RUNNING JETT ON FRACTURE

The last part of your post is the sort of criticism that Aspas fans ignored for a very long time. He's never been able to adapt and learn new agents. Didn't play Yoru or Waylay, refuses to flex and play Chamber, etc. Playing passive Jett is a comfort pick for him and it's diminishing returns.

not playing yoru is fair criticism but he had one of the best waylays itw when it was heavy meta and he did play chamber on loud 22 (on icebox cause it could be a duelist-less map but no one could cover for him in other ones)
said it earlier i believe he can come back in 27 after realising hes dogshit at building teams and letting someone else do it because ditching his paris team for this one was a huge shot in the foot
yall remember last year when mibr was doing terribly, rated as legit the worst team coming into champs 2026 and he performs and does better than expected
still probably to goat but man is it ever frustrating to watch this guy
