So is bro ever gonna come back? Even if he does, being away from competing for so long surely will affect his performance

Nope Trent’s Sova rating was 1.29 last year and 1.40 this year, prime Leo was a 1.3
JonahPork [#7]Nope Trent’s Sova rating was 1.29 last year and 1.40 this year, prime Leo was a 1.3
1.3 is his rating over his entire career not his prime you moron, (trents all time sova stats 1.2 btw)
HIMNIJ [#9]1.3 is his rating over his entire career not his prime you moron, (trents all time sova stats 1.2 btw)
Dumbass check his VCT 2023 stats. It was a 1.3. This could be easily fact checked but instead you replied to me typing straight bullshit

Leo stayed in the past.
He 100% tried to get back but he saw his level and chose not to ruin his legacy, he saw all those glazers calling him the GOAT and all of that while he was getting dogwalked by some random kids in EU rankeds.
If he really had the level he wouldn't refuse to farm more money on EMEA, but his level has fallen too much.
He is a smart guy, he couldn't ruin his name for some money.
Idk how Leo has been holding up but last time we saw him he looked frail as fuck, idt he’ll be coming back

Too bad Trent never got to play with Alfajer, Derke, and Chronicle.
Guild 2022 is unironically comparable player quality wise to 2025 G2, yet Leo’s peak placement was 8th in a Masters and Trent’s peak placement was 2nd
Effluxi [#15]Definitely a crazy thing to say when it looks like NA might miss out on an event for the first time ever.
What are you talking about? The top team in both groups are NA lmfao

And who made his teammates be able to shine with near perfect utility? Leo
Put Trent in 2023 Fnatic over Leo and they don’t win back2back
And also guild had russ and koldamenta. Are these players really on 2025 G2’s level? No wonder yous never won a trophy
JonahPork [#10]Dumbass check his VCT 2023 stats. It was a 1.3. This could be easily fact checked but instead you replied to me typing straight bullshit
his entire year stats? compared to the incredible pool of results your using for trents sova this year which is NINE MAPS

Russ and Koldamenta were def comparable to jaw and Jonah yeah, it’s rough out there
I heavily doubt it
If he does recover I doubt the first thing he'd do would be to hop on valorant
wait Nevermind he just posted a coaching video 😭😭
JonahPork [#3]Who cares, Trent gapped him as the best Sova anyway in the last year
Trent couldn't even gap jawgemo at the only event they actually did well at
JonahPork [#7]Nope Trent’s Sova rating was 1.29 last year and 1.40 this year, prime Leo was a 1.3
Trent had a 1.3 on Sova at Santiago and a 1.25 on Sova at kickoff where do you get 1.4?
themaniel [#27]Trent couldn't even gap jawgemo at the only event they actually did well at
he did in fact gap him at bangkok toronto and maybe santiago
I mean, I think if he can get back into form He'd be pretty good.
Nowhere near where he was in 2024 but still decent. Idk if he would realistically tho

Including a singular game on Sova for a stage that has just started is like using the EWC qualifiers to argue why a player is good

I used an aggregate rating from the whole year, this isn’t hard to understand if you put an ounce of thought into it. If I used a single map, his rating would be 2.2 not 1.4

You don’t know how math works part 2
riensluvr [#2]nah even if he could come back he wouldn't want it to hurt his legacy
More importantly, his long COVID condition would make it very difficult to maintain his focus and energy on scrims and playing in general. Most players would enjoy a shot if they knew they had the skill to keep up. The fact of the matter is Leo's health is debilitating him from doing full days of playing and trying to catch up with the meta.
He would probably come back as a coach or analyst.
riensluvr [#2]nah even if he could come back he wouldn't want it to hurt his legacy
this is the only reason he hasn't come back
JonahPork [#20]What are you talking about? The top team in both groups are NA lmfao

I thought furia was the top team in that group ngl, that’s my bad. Still no point arguing that MIBR is LATAM when they have 3 NA players and the two best performing players are Verno and zekken.
i think he will probably play next year in the new circuit which doesnt require you to live in berlin permanently
JonahPork [#3]Who cares, Trent gapped him as the best Sova anyway in the last year
Leo wont whiff on a guy on iso ult btw
