sen played fine. they had a sub. they're still a mid team, they were mid before and they will be mid again this split. when i say mid, i mean true mid. like 5th, 6th, 7th. not making internationals, not losing to bad teams. kru, on the other hand looked really exciting and had really high firepower and i'm genuinely hyped to see them against a true top team and find out if they can cut it.

i'm really not sure having a sub was the issue here, jerrwin would not have fixed everything going wrong for SEN in this match
well sure but its not like things went wrong for them, as i said later in the post they did just perform to expectations as a mid-table team and kru look potentially exciting
Honestly I think even if you think -Victor + Jerwinn is an upgrade it isn't enough to make this team not like a bottom to mid table team.

Reduxx did fine.
Cortezia I think has been massively under performing and I don't think that's gonna change and one of the reasons they will stay a mid team "hot take"

SEN would need a miracle to make London it just aint happening
i agree they're bang mid table. they absolutely will not make london and frankly shouldn't expect it with this roster
they need "guys" as fns would say. Johnqt is a guy and reduxx is a guy in the making. the rest are sorta not good enough. For 2027 they gotta scrap the roster and build around Johnqt and Reduxx.
Though I think Kru also just played very well today and did not respect sen so they kept taking duels. Only good news for jerwin is that he should have lower expectations cause people arent expecting much from this team.
cortez on mibr was a guy and jonah will give you a couple games a season where he wins every fight

Sen are not a 5th, 6th, 7th team the only team they might be better than in their group is EG. They probably go winless this split
bro this is what im trying to combat - everyone is overreacting. they're better than the bad teams and worse than the good teams. they'll never make it out of their region this year but they'll also never place last. is what it is

100% agree i feel like people are misinterpreting my post, i said they're mid-table overall for the region but i agree they'll only maybe make playoffs given which other teams are in their group specifically, im trying to push back against overreaction from insufferable sen fans that they're utterly terrible while still being realistic and pointing out that mediocrity should've been the expectation

sen did not play "fine" they were absolutely horrid. especially jonahp, -17 over two maps as a non igl is not a "fine" game
insane take they're definitely better than envy and if lev look anything like they did in kickoff sen'll be better than them too. i'd put them in the same tier as C9 above the bottom four, probably wouldn't beat C9 but realistically could on their day
