and who's their new igl? if i heard postmatch interview correctly, it was alexy rn, you can correct me if im wrong (i remember that alexy being igling before, but maybe i'm wrong again)

yeah, you heard it correctly 😁 alexy is their current igl.
And i think alexy was also the igl for the xipto 2024 core but for split 2 (tara igl during split 1) and i'm not entirely sure who's their igl during gcc that time.
Some of their info isn't yet updated here in vlr. They also have 2 new coaches.

yeah, tysm for this!!! about their new coaches i know, but thanks for remiding me about times that alexy being igl (i remembered it, yeah)
but also i'm a little bit worried about alexy's igling. she's insane player, and madv also an insane igl, but we'll see how good alexy on being igl during the whole '26 season (i like to do some parallels - alexy is their intiator and new igl, and also daiki igl for tl brazil. they playing on the same role, and that fact for me is insane, cause they both one of my fav players)
i guess tara was igl in gcc '24, but someone who knows can correct me

according from what i saw on the post-match interviews, madv was happy to not be igl so she can focus more on fragging out and flexing, she admitted she didn't like being stuck in one role, primarily initiator, when she was igl.

they're all insane players and i'm really rooting for them to qual for gcc! i think madv has more comfortability flexing and is mechanically insane, so it makes sense to put her on a role where she can fit what the team needs. Alexy is also an amazing IGL, she took over the role for Xipto during Split 2 and at GCC, so Tara could focus on her aim and the game.

GCC pacific is going to be insane with the 3 favoured contenders being GEN-G GC (ex-Ninetails), Falcons Vega, and Fennel.

yeah, that’s true! i fully agree with ur opinion. thanks for explaining me that cause i forgot some info.
true, i don’t think that any team (if we not count these trio) can be a good contenders for them, only if stallions can pick yxqme (she said in her last tweet that “see u split 2 with a surprise” and grahams for split 2, to give a real competition for falcons again. BUT, i understand that anything can happen when split 2 starts. or during this year before gcc at all
also, if we remember past year, i hope this year for falcons is a redemption arc.
me too! i also rooting for falcons to qual at gcc, cause ex.xipto/smg core one of my fav.
a have some doubts about alexy’s igling (I don’t want to say that she’s a bad igl/player/smth else) but for me i think being igl and fragging (as daiki do) it’s so hard. it’s just tough for being a leader for a team with 4 mechanically gifted players.

i guess when madv left igl role, and focused on fragging, she start to open her full potential on 100%, and that’s incredible.

but for stallions, this current roster, compare to last year, much more weaker
with yxqme and grahams they was really strong team, but rn…i don’t think so
