what is your opinion on neon in game (not vct) to play against? it feels so much more oppressive than other duelist imo and i think if they want to reduce the util in the game hers should be toned down a little - similar case with waylay. my duo plays a ton of neon and it feels so jarring to watch this guy moving like no other agent can lol

i'd also be curious if anyone can think of a fair neon nerf that would tone her down a little and not just ruin the character, the best solution ive seen tbh is people suggest sentinels be re-buffed to be better

nerf shotguns. Give Cypher his trip stuns back, slight buffs to Vyse and Kj (fuck Deadlock that bitchass grav-net has brim ult radius)

her character design is fundamentally not fit for a tac-fps. Nerfing will serve only as a temporary fix, since that opens up the possibility/necessity for buffs later which leads us back to the original problem. Imo neon needs a rework,no matter whether 1 or 100000 players are able to bring the best out of her as a character

except someone like raze or jett or waylay cant stop mid dash/satchel to stun you and then slide in your face with a shotgun (or at least not without really bad movement inaccuracy). The worst part about neon is not even her slide, it's that her movement makes her way too hard to kill, especially because spraying in this game is not viable/leaves you vulnerable (like it is in most other tac-fps games). Her kit design(at least her ult and sprinting) does not fit in a tac-fps

except she can. Raze or jett when they are flying through the air can't just stop instantly, pull out their gun and be fully accurate, neon can just stop jumping and half a second later hit her slide and pull out her gun

fym its not a space taking ability? It's literally the primary ability that facilitates the dive playstyle for neon, the same way satchels do for raze or the dash does for jett or waylay.

ok explain better . u wanna open on raze / jett u chose a high spot and go to it its fast hard to shoot cause ur using 2 axis. now neon's dash doesn't cover much so you need to run first ( ur literaly knife out when u run iff someone peeks throught ur wall ur fucked. ~~~~

except this is what I was saying earlier, she can strafe left and right so fast and stun you in half a second so unless you are playing with a shotgun or get a one tap you are dead whether by neon or some other teammates following up. Also the 2 axis thing is not always a factor for jett/raze since you dont always go on top of something, but even if you did do that, the speed of neon's strafes makes her just as hard to hit, if not harder

sachels are harder to use but being good with neon is harder. mouvement aren't as fast i played both charater to a good level i assure u havving good sachel ( not having to look at the ground + real continuous mouvement ) is easier than neon matrix mooves

? yoru can solo entry and as been played as solo quite a lot before the double meta rn he is still viable neon isn't. she doesn't get ez space like with dashes or tp's. its hard to explain for someone who doesn't play neon but try neon on abiss other tipe off big maps u can't entry. really. u get stunned too easily / sprayed down throught the wall

he was viable as a solo entry in the tejo meta because he was the only duelist that brute force through tejos util with his tps and very strong at triggering vyse util on top of being able to set himself up in his ult which you can’t do anymore

now he struggles to entry into site as a solo duelist, there’s a reason why he’s played as a secondary and not as the main entry

he was played as 2nd bcs ini are trash and he does ( 3 jobs duelist wich he can still do. site double anchor w the tp on the other side off the maps and on top of f that had 2 flashes that can line up / are close to kayo's (hard to dodge). like he needed a nerf to do a lil less now he isn't busted asf anymore jst good duelist.

Neon is the only agent with refreshable entry utility so she is the only duelist in the game that can entry at any point in the round which inherently makes her the best solo entry duelist. Not to mention her stun and wall make her quite self sufficient compared to Yoru (who has to entry blindly) or Waylay (who can’t actually capitalize off her own entries)
