Idt it has anything to do with folding under pressure. Teams that go far in internationals improve their gameplay after every match and in this case the 5th-8th placers didn't keep up

i mean i do think it partially was pressure, i don't see how both of these things can't be true. some could've definitely done better if they could maintain form across a series, and when you can see teams put up some maps where they are absolutely good enough to make top 4 but then they crumble like m8 second half bind vs ag or furia second half split vs prx, it's pretty clear that that's a case of them losing their mental, and one could reasonably estimate that some of that mental damage is related to the pressure of a big tournament

nah i'd be happy if they win. they're really the only team left that still excites me, bc it is their rookie run but unlike the others they've actually backed up that they can make it to finals. plus dambi is so fun to watch and the whole style that they play is really thrilling. hope we get to see them in the grand final rather than two dynastic americas teams in a snoring competition
