How do they actually go from being really bad in the beginning of VCT, to winning Champs 24' TO THEN fall off in 25' but still having some good performances (EDG in Bangkok, Wolves in Toronto) to being a filler region in 26'

honestly if knight didnt have health complications, they would've had better representation
let's be honest Toronto Wolves were an outlier. they outperformed their average gameplay both before and after. EDG management are unironically super terrorists with how much they sabotage their teams (not just in valorant). Just look up their LoL and Crossfire histories. they struck gold in valorant and then proceeded to hard troll every ounce of potential progress they could've made
I was willing to hope for the opposite in valorant, but it's clear this org is so fucking bad at maintaining long-term performances. They went from middling to DOGSHIT in crossfire. They went from WINNING WORLDS to dismantling their trophy-winning team through incompetence and the players wanting another chance somewhere else. I hate this org so much
when they entered LoL they were quite good, then over time lost the players and coaches that made them good at the time. Then Hibari assembled the greatest roster they've ever had (current EDG Val manager) and then proceeded to actively dismantle the entire team within the span of two seasons after they won worlds 2021 and have been terrible ever since
