He made some comments in a heated ranked game when a sage was throwing his game, and is getting crazy hate as a result.
I extracted some important quotes with his exact words.
"I hate the fucking Chinese player man, so fucking idiots so fucking bad"
"這些人可以回去打國服嗎打港服那麼菜" （can these people go back to China server, they are so terrible in Hong Kong server）
"說中文不會玩的人" (what I meant was I hate people who speak Chinese but are bad at the game)
He got a ton of backlash and is rumoured to drop from his org (no apology yet)
because he is from TW it also gets political, so people say he is not getting another offer from a Chinese org
From the viewpoint of someone who speaks and understands English well, I watched the video and I don't think he actually meant it in the sense he hates all Chinese players or thinks he isn't Chinese, he is just bad at expressing what he means + Chinese social media is bad at understanding what he means. The sage was not fragging but also couldn't comm in English in a Hong Kong server so I thought his comment that they should play Chinese servers instead was reasonable. He is also 16 yo basically my age lol so its just seems like another Canezerra incident tbh
This is not a post about politics but this is on vlr so naturally none of u would understand the sentiment towards political sensitive issues in china. But I will say this is a crazy thing to hear him say without reading in to the subtext, especially for a player who may have a future as a "Chinese player"
Another thing he had an instagram story hating on midi (a player who was on trace esports before) after he bot fragged a game - "how is any pro team picking this guy up he is so bad etc."
