Yeah thought so too, originally I wanted to bring together Izu, trent + miniboo because I see high potential but I can't really find some1 good for the smoke role at that price. I feel like all the good budget options don't play in swiss
yeah, the 1st seeds have budget options / cheaper players compared to the swiss stage teams, as this time all the big names are 2nd/3rd and the 1st seeds are completely new so hard to rate them too high
In my book the three budget controller options are Munchkin, Wayne and glyph. I have doubts about M8 and especially glyph in terms of fragging potential. I have three options now,
- play Trent (best ini choice) paired with a budget controller (one of the above)
- Play a budget ini (starxo, nobody (Ethan's an option but I wouldn't pick him)) paired with a high fragging controller (valyn, leaf)
- Play a budget ini paired with Wayne for some high fragging wildcards (Babybay, keiko, jingg, Jawgemo, leaf)
What's the best way?
i'd say, budget ini with high fragging controller(valyn especially) is the best way, as valyn is in a very hot form going into santiago (but this completely relies on valyn performing). My second choice would be to go trent, munchkin/wayne, this is an overall safer pick.
budget ini, valyn has high risk high reward whereas trent,munchkin is medium risk and medium reward
