why are people actually rating this team again? Just pick corrode and pearl and it's a free win. Sure they gimmicked out fnc on corrode but no emea team other than bbl can actually play that map anyway

no emea team has been able to play pearl properly in 4 years and this lohan/nats liquid roster has sucked at corrode since it's been out (2-6 all time and both wins are regional) so yeah I doubt a 2 week break is gonna change much

nrg permabanned sunset during champs unless they were playing a team that also permabanned sunset, during kickoff liquid permabanned haven. Not the same situation at all

they've got time to work on their map pool between kickoff and santiago, and given how much they improved abyss and even corrode to some extent during kickoff, i have faith that we're gonna easily win santiago without dropping a map

because they permaban haven right now brother, that means their haven also sucks or at least they believe it does. They've also never been good at pearl/corrode at any point of their existence, I'm sure they'd love to find a magical fix for those maps in the 2 weeks before santiago but nothing they've done has ever worked

I think they can fix their pearl given two weeks. their pearl had good ideas with the mid defaults but they were very two-dimensional, if they learn to play around main too and to take space post plant I think they can do well.
pearl isn't that complicated to play at a pro level tbh (at least relative to most of the other maps), feels like the emea coaches are just lazy and refuse to put in the time to drill their team on it.
corrode is another thing though, i don't have expectations for them on that map
