I disagree, but not that much. I'm rewatching the finals (OPTC vs Loud) and if this game was played today, nameplates off, vlr would be having a field day. There is so many things we take for granted today that they just do not have an understanding of.
you gotta remember what Less said about when he joined team vitality, he had to explain so many basic ideas and concepts to them that he completely took for granted in LOUD, and that was considered a superteam when it was announced
i mean tbf that's testimony and i'm not really willing to believe most of it
but you also have to think that 2022 LOUD was way ahead of their time and if they all stayed together they'd still be trophy contenders today
To this day Loud 22 is one of the only two cores to get three international finals with at least one win in the span of a year

that's the thing. i think there's a lot of intangible things that we overlook as viewers that are just second nature to players now that really weren't before, as well as understanding just how overtuned some agents were at that time, like viper. viper 2022 would run every single map and she's a fraction of what she is now

If it's against 2022 teams a good 80% of the teams today would win. Everyone is way better at the game today than they were back then.
