can YOU (as in the coaching staff) run a meta comp for half a second?? phoenix over yoru on pearl?? no scan??? vyse in the big 2026??? no viper on corrode??? cypher over viper on split? you guys deserved almost getting 13-0'd for running reyna on abyss. you are literally the ONLY TEAM IN THE WORLD that played reyna on ANY map, much less MULTIPLE maps. Please lock in for one stage, it would be so easy to go far if you just stuck to the meta.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I am not part of the DRG coaching staff
yes i have and im constantly questioning as to how many substances nathand has to be under the influence of to be running both reyna and vyse in the big 2026
his success in 2024 was from experimenting and finding an offmeta style for the players in officials which is why fpx ran so much triple controller 2024/kickoff 25
2025 he made drg from a bottom feeder team to one of the best of china and actually utilised spiritz1’s firepower by running offmeta stuff again
if you look at fpx they’ve been in shambles since nathand left because his style of coaching is good for finding things that work for the team. i guarantee they’ve tried viper a lot and they still don’t feel comfortable on it and the meta for them right now is pretty bad but give them time and they will improve
DRG wasn't a bottom feeder team in 2025 bro they literally came in 4th during kickoff and 5th-6th during stage 1. Sure he's probably better than the previous coach, but that doesn't mean he's good when DRG is literally constantly getting eco'd, anti'd, and the teams discipline looks the worst its been in a long time.
Also he is not utilizing spiritz1 correctly when he's putting one of the best yoru's in the region on reyna and phoenix.
its nathand lol same thing happened with fpx from 24-25, in 2024 he found a bunch of stuff which actually worked for the team that was offmeta (triple controller icebox etc) but then he started making crazy ass decisions during champs (putting ur duelist player on viper for an elim game....) then during kickoff 2025 fpx played a solo tejo clove comp on haven against blg in an elim game (lost obviously)
then he joins drg and makes them play more of his offmeta stuff but now its a new year and hes doing crazy shit again
i honestly dont know what this guy is on, how some of his strats work, and why orgs still use him
