why did china start later than americas and already has a first seed locked in?

seems like americas is the most behind region even though they started before all the others

china always starts earlier. its the tradition bc they have holidays

• lunar new year is approaching
• smaller viewership drop if games are played on the weekdays
• less venue overlap with LoL (maybe even no overlap?)
• americas always finish last because they want that Santiago draw show viewership
