I'm tired of playing on a 2015 Dell default office mouse, I have decided to change and get a new one.
I have the Razer Viper, Razer DeathAdder, HyperX Pulsefire in mind.

I'm just looking for a good mouse for the first time so recommendations for good mouse's below $35?

I heard the Razer Viper Mini is quite small compared to other mice. I might go with that.

I've had G Pro Wireless and XM1r and both of them are really good. I'm thinking of buying Outset AX soon though. Because even though I'm happy with XM1r I think Outset shaped mouse could suit me better.

edit: oh didn't notice that below 35$ I've also had DeathAdder, but I wasn't a huge fan. Really bulky, but tbh most mice at that price range are like that. Its still decent.

seen a lot of people recommend DeathAdder, But I see Viper Mini a better option. less bulky

meh. viper mini is bad.
and other budget razers too. used it for 5-6 months

maybe pro or elite versions r fine.

i would recommend to buy maybe not a new mouse, so it could be a bit cheaper. but ill go with zowie xtrfy gpro or smth like that.

razer or hyperx is a joke in 20k21

DeathAdder isn't bad mouse, its just that after using mice like GPW it feels pretty shitty. I think its just due to it being pretty heavy and having pretty bad cable. Also it feels like old mice like it is. But it isn't bad.

you can get g203/g102 for cheap, it has a decent sensor - doesn't spin out and has good speed, it can track 5m/s iirc. Imo 3360 is a better sensor, at least it felt like that to me and there are definitely mice that are selling for around $35 with it, so it all depends on the shape that you prefer. If you pay a bit more then you can find some 3389 too, I've seen some mouse from a polish brand here, it was for like $45 I think

EDIT: my 203 was double clicking after like 2 years (1.5 year of actual usage), but you can get new switches for cheap and solder them in

Steel series rival 3

Pretty standard in build and size. Cost 25 bucks.

I bought a new 100 dollar Logitech pro superlight and sometimes I miss my rival 3

I have used Viper mini (which I am assuming you are talking bout coz the original Viper isn't anywhere near 40$) and it is great. I still have one, but there are some issues like the cable isn't that good so you have to use a bungee or paracord it. Also, the stock skates aren't the best and on heavy usage won't last more than 1yr. If you can manage all that it is extremely impressive mice for its price better than its competitors in that range.

I got no issues with a Cable I just want a good mouse with long life and is smooth

I got the viper mini, beware of the lift-off distance (LOD), cause it's pretty high. I don't really care about it but a lot of people hated it. That said, there's plenty of workarounds that work great and don't void warranty.

If you haven't bought anything yet, the place to look is right here and also Rocket Jump Ninja's youtube channel. You'll find lots of in depth reviews there. No other tech youtuber does better mouse reviews than this guy.

If you're too lazy, here are the key things to consider:

Sensor

  • Most top mice these days will have very good sensors, so you only have to worry about sensors if you're thinking about buying an older mouse.

Shape and Size

  • The most important factors when picking a mouse, unfortunately there's no way to test the shape online, so the best way to go about it is to watch some reviews on youtube about the specific mouse you're looking to get;
  • When it comes to size it depends on the size of your hand (helpful video at the end of the post).

Weight

  • For the most part when it comes to weight, personal preference is king, not too much explaining needed here. Some factors that influence the weight you want are how fast your sens is and the kind of mousepad you have (hardpad, smoothpad, fast, slow).

Software

  • Personally a big deal for me, but maybe not so much for you. Most mice software will have the basic functions down: dpi adjustment, polling rate, rgb customization. If you've been using a regular mouse, you can pretty much ignore this factor since it probably won't affect you.

Finally, this video has a guide if you're still unsure.

Good luck!

Orochi is good it’s like a smaller G Pro Wireless. I’ve used all 3 and I’d probably say GPW x Superlight, Orochi v2 then Viper Mini

Viper mini if you have small or small-medium hands. Otherwise for larger hands try Glorious model D or O from meckeys in India (u got Indian flair).

I just never liked mouses with holes in them. So not getting the model d/o any time soon.
