Ohhh I see, I guess your problem is being a perfectionist. You want to be good enough to play "perfect" at the level you're at. You probably get more mad at yourself than at your teammates. But listen man, if you've ever watched pro matches, you know even pro players make mistakes (egregious mistakes sometimes), and that's ok, no one will ever play this game perfect.

So accept that mistakes will happen and that they're a NORMAL thing. You will make mistakes, I'll make mistakes and so will TenZ. Allow yourself to make bad plays and forgive yourself when you do. You'll only learn from them.

Lastly, the game is supposed to be fun, and I think you're kinda like me: you only have fun when you're playing well, doesn't matter if you're winning or losing. So create a smurf and when you're not feeling it, just play there lmao

Pretty weak/spoiled kid mindset. Work on mental toughness, if you get this worked up over an online game, your mental strength is definitely lacking in real life too.

Just trio with your wife and daughter and stream. Now you can quit you job and just play all day 5Head

lmaooooooo I've lived to see the day CalypsoGHC out of all people is complaining about a joke being not funny

You care too much about winning. The focus should be on improving. Also, playing unrated does nothing for you to improve, it'd be much better if you spent time (like 1hr everyday) on aim training with AimLabs or KovaaKs.

Last but not least, you're overrating yourself. If you play ranked and do bad, that's your level, play there.

Nah, its something around 60-40 skill-luck ratio. Or 55-45, but it's definitely not luck over skill.

I'm aware he improved his mental game, and I have no doubts he'd do better than before. But comparing him to s1mple is too much, maybe TenZ is to Valorant what s1mple is to CS, but if you consider only CS, there's no comparison.

Can confirm, tried learning her in plat but it's impossible. My tip is, if you really want to learn her (she's pretty fun to play tbh) you gotta duo or trio bro

banger match for a t2 tourney, yes, but overall? I'll have to disagree, both of these teams are at a pretty low level now (compared to what they could be)

Classic KR flag overrating MSI lmao

posted about 2 years ago

Fair point I guess. To be fair, all formats will have positives and negatives, but the thing is, usually what's positive for us spectators is negative for the pros, they're human too you know, we can't expect them to play at the absolute highest level throughout the whole year.

So just like with everything in life, the key is to find a balance. IMO this Valorant's format favors the pros too heavily, I'm pretty sure they don't need 2-week breaks in between games.

posted about 2 years ago

League has an awful format, you guys do realize they only have 2 international events per year, and 1 of them is MSI which ppl hype up, but no one really cares about. In League, it's all about worlds.

If you want low level competition throughout the whole year except for ONE tournament at the end of the year, then yeah, League format is amazing. In other words, it's garbage.

agreed, but hey, at least they'll stream more LUL

You can compare your sens by using edpi.

edpi = dpi * in-game sens

So in your case:
edpi = 1600 * 0.153
edpi = 244.8

Which I'd say is slightly slower than average, but nothing to worry about. For comparison, you can use prosettings.net, they'll have all the settings from the main pros there, including edpi.

Here are some examples:

  • T1 Brax: 146 edpi;
  • SEN Shazam: 212 edpi;
  • TSM Wardell: 260.8 edpi;
  • 100T Asuna: 413 edpi;
  • 100T Hiko: 576 edpi.

So as you can see, pros use a wide range of edpi across the board, so unless yours is absurdly fast or slow, don't even stress about it.
