Using Feet for measuring human height feels way better ngl. I thought most people were using feet to measure height. Metric system is used for every other thing tho.

Measuring using cm/m/km is easier in general with stairs (+-0) method instead of inches/feet/miles.
It can even be applied to mg/g/kg and ml/litres as well.

It's probably just me tho. It feels better using feet and inches to measure human height. Still I do use metric system for everything else. It's just height that I use imperial system for.

for me the only time where inches feels more applicable is for Pizza, TV/monitors only.
example: 60 inch TV instead of 5 feet TV.
