Despite the fact that even the quran says they should be restricted on education, employment, no bodily autonomy, that the man is allowed to discipline the woman in the relationship if he fears she is becoming arrogant?
it doesnt limit there education,employment in any way (only thing it mentions is not working while pregnant as in maternity leave and recovery time) the man is not allowed to discipline them in any way that is a miss translation it says hit in a way that means "hit them with a example" in arabic as in speak to them about being upset it is completely and utterly haram to hit women
and im not sure what you mean by no bodily autonomy they have full bodily autonomy everything including the hijab has to be there choice and abortion is allowed in islam if the mother is in danger

In Qur'an 33:33 for example that is incorrect translation it means to maintain tranquility in home this is was directed at the prophets wives and at the time if remember correctly it would've been dangerous for his wives to leave there homes being afraid of them getting killed there was a war involving the prophet at the time if i remember i correctly so the direct translation doesn't apply here women can go out as long as it isn't to do something haram or with people that tempt them to do haram thing that applies to men as well
no, it means to hit them but it's only meant to be a light hit that isn't painful (the equivalent of a tap on the wrist pretty much) it's just to show you're annoyed at something they did rather than to physically harm them
